It’s my career
I started my business, Monmouth Virtual Solutions when my children began their lives after completing college. It was my turn! I was tired of my corporate career. The companies either left the state, were bought by another company, or downsized. Corporations were dictating my career.

You are in charge of creating your business from the ground up, so you can shape your company to be something you’re proud of and that you may even be able to pass on to your children as your legacy.

With my husband planning to retire in a few years, I started my Virtual Assistant business so I can take my business to wherever we retire. No geographic restrictions! I am no longer tied to the geographic location of the corporation. I can travel anywhere to set up shop. As long as there is Wi-Fi, I am in business! Technology has made it easy for me to connect with my clients, access their files and documents, and perform the assigned tasks.
Team Player
When I started this business, I had dreams of helping the small business owner and the solopreneur grow their business. I wanted to find ways to take some of the important yet small tasks off their plate. This was my way of being a team player without working for a corporation.
Dreams are the cornerstone of all small businesses. The energy, the excitement, and the anxiety propel them out of bed every morning. The freedom to take your business in any direction is a great motivator.
